So lately there had been a LOT of buzz about Rihanna. Is she back with Chris? Is she taking a year hiatus from music? She's got a clothing line? She's got a make-up range? Well, lets get to what really matters - MAKE UP - She's recently announced that she will indeed be doing a range with MAC Cosmetics called "Rihanna Loves MAC" or "RiRi <3 MAC" which will be released slowly over the coming months of 2013.
Today marked the first release of part of this range,in the UK, debuting "RiRi Woo" a twist on MACs classic yet timeless lipstick Ruby Woo. Ruby Woo is described as a "Classic red matte finish lipstick with a velvet look. " This is essentially what "RiRi Woo" is said to be, but with a slightly deeper red colour.
Rihanna said: "Working with M.A.C, it’s difficult to get a red lipstick that beats Ruby Woo, because it works on every skin tone. I had so many different samples to choose from and so many different colors underneath — blue, yellow, orange and pink bases and I got to pick one that worked. I tried it on all my friends to make sure it worked on all of our skin tones. I really got to play. There’s so much to choose from, and you can mix different textures with different colors. I learned so much about the detail of makeup and what makes things look different. What makes it apply different is really important. Every little detail is important."
RiRi Woo was released in America on May 2nd 2013 and sold out in just 3 hours creating high demand for the stars first make up range.
The star even tweeted:
The lipstick became available in the UK at 11am 3rd May 2013 and will continue to sell while stocks last.
