First off, let me apologise for the state of the Double Wear bottle, anyone who wears it, knows it like cement in foundation form. I tried scrubbing the bottle and the majority of the foundation on it did come off, but there were a few bits that were clinging on like there was no tomorrow so for the unappealing look, I apologise profusely.
Groveling, check.
In the cooler months my skin definitely produces less oil than in the Summer, obviously, which is probably due to the fact I'm absolutely roasting during those months and during the A/W months my skin is cool and calm. So with this in mind my foundation doesn't have to be as light and as thin as it is in Summer, because in the summer, us oily skinned people don't want to feel like we have the heavy coverage foundation on only for it to slip and slide right off leaving us looking a right mess, no no no.
The foundations I am loving at the moment are Revlon ColorStay in 110 Ivory, £12.99 - Boots and Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup in Cool Bone, £29.50 -Debenhams. These foundations have served me well over the last few weeks, Double Wear especially.
Estee Lauder Double Wear is definitely my holy grail high end foundation but saying that I'm always open to new foundations as I always feel like new ones come out all the time and are catered to certain skin types so there's always another "one" out there for me, but over the last year Double Wear has definitely been THE one.
Revlon ColorStay is a newer purchase but I am SO happy with the results it's been giving me. The colour is a spot on colour match for my skin which I have only ever found once in a high street/drugstore foundation before because I am like paper in complexion. The only other foundation I have found like this is MaxFactor FaceFinity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 in shade 40 Light Ivory which is my go to drugstore foundation so I am happy I've found another staple which I can go to whenever my number one is out of stock or if I'm being lazy and can't be bothered to walk up to the big Boots store in Town (there's another Boots on the retail park where I work so I am often to lazy to venture up into the centre of town for the correct shade...)
What are you Autumnal/Winter foundation or makeup picks? Let me know in the comments!

ah I use the same max factor facefinity and I didn't even know that revlon had a pale enough shade, I'm desperate to go and pick that up now! I love doublewear too, but I think you have to be really careful with application as it needs to be blended down well for best results, in my opinion :)

I always apply double wear with a damp RT sponge :) makes it so easy to work with! Yeah I was shocked about revlon too, definitely worth a try! xxx
