12 Days of beauty is an on going series, one post per day, of my favourite (and a few not so favourite) beauty products from 2014. It's in no particular order. It will go on from 25th December till 5th January - coinciding with the 12 days of Christmas!
I have a full review of the Makeup Geek Shadows here, if you would like to read that first.
Makeup Geek shadows seem to be quite the thing amongst American YouTubers so I decided to delve into the realm of MUG myself and see what all the fuss was about.
Makeup Geek is an American Brand which is popular on YouTube with a fair few Youtubers and since they were cropping up in pretty much every video/makeup tutorial I was watching I decided to ask for some from Santa last year.
They're really pigmented, affordable and come in pan for so you can customize your Z-palette or any other palette you may have, I also have a depotted MAC eyeshadow in this palette just because it was easier to grab at them all as I use them in my daily work makeup anyway.
The only downside was the postage prices, I paid £6 all included postage and then when it got to the UK I had to pay an extra £15 VAT & handling fees which was annoying since it was a present but other than that I'm really happy with them!
What do you think of these products?
Love Alicia x
