Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Series Contour Kit, £39 CultBeauty.co.uk

On days where I'm feeling particularly daring with my makeup and want to bring out my inner Kimmy K, this baby does all the work for me.

If i'm honest I don't think it even needs a review, I feel as though I'm flogging a dead horse right now but on the other hand, once you own it you understand why it is so good and why there are so many rave reviews on this particular product.

L -R Vanilla, Banana, Sand, Java, Fawn, Havana.

I have "umm'd and ahh'd" for quite some time, possibly over a year about whether or not to splurge on this palette, given the £39 price tag and the fact it's marketed at professionals but as I learnt more and more about makeup and discovered contouring, I decided that I would take the plunge and just buy the palette.

The palette consists of six different powders (names shown above) each with it's own different use. Personally I use them like so: Vanilla for the outer portions of my face, Banana for setting concealer on my undereyes and forehead, Fawn for the hollows of my cheeks and sides of my nose and last but not least, Havana for my forehead and jawline. This works well enough for me that, even though I am oily, I can usually get away with just using these powders and nothing else on top of them, no setting powder or spray.

The powders are buttery and super blendable, I tend to use Fawn in conjunction with Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel and even putting the powder straight on top of the cream base, they don't stick to the product they're easy to blend out and they look seamless.

I have been loving using a powder bronzer and then going over the top with Fawn just to add that extra bit of dimension to my face if I'm wanting a heavier contour.

I wouldn't say this palette is for people who aren't heavily into makeup, if you're looking for a simple contour palette just to get you started Sleek doing a fantastic one that gets the job done in 2 seconds flat, but if you're like me and you are a bit of a hoarder and want to try everything then this will probably be good for you it has everything you need from highlight to contour and even some darker shades.

I tend to use the darker shades when I have a little self tan on and Fawn isn't really cutting it but for ever day Fawn is definitely my go to. What i like about this kit as well is the fact that when you run out of a certain shade, you can pop the pan out and buy a refill (Currently priced at £14 from Cult Beauty) which is super efficient as you probably don't want to go buying the whole kit again just for one colour.

Those are my thoughts on The Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, what are you thoughts? Have you tried it? How do you like to you it?
